Proposed Ordinance Revisions & Vilas Demolitions

This month we have two topics in our Advocacy News. We have provided information about the proposed ordinance revisions, a February 5th forum where City staff will seek to explain the rationale behind the proposals, and additional steps in the review process before the amendments are considered for adoption by the Common Council.

The second is a followup of the proposal to demolish two contributing buildings in the Wingra Park National Register Historic District. The demolition application was refiled and denied a second time by the Plan Commission on January 13.
